Where Every Platform Arrived
Selected case studies from completed QORA engagements. Each record shows the original waiting state, the service line assigned, the delivery approach and the confirmed destination. These are not aspirational outcomes — they are completed departures.
Completed Destination Records
Every engagement listed below began as a waiting technology requirement. Each one departed on a confirmed service line and arrived at a defined business destination.
Full-Stack AWS Cloud Migration — 500-Seat Financial Services Group
A UK-based financial services group of 500 employees was operating a fragmented on-premise infrastructure stack that had reached operational capacity. Maintenance costs had grown to represent 38% of the technology budget. The executive leadership required a cloud migration that could be executed in phases without disrupting regulated client-facing services.
QORA assigned this engagement to service line SL-01 and conducted a comprehensive cloud readiness assessment covering 47 applications, 12 databases and 6 legacy integration systems. A phased migration plan was designed with AWS as the target platform, prioritising non-critical workloads in phase one and regulated financial applications in phase three under enhanced security and compliance controls.
The migration was completed across 18 months with zero service interruptions to client-facing systems. All regulated workloads were migrated under FCA compliance protocols with audit trails maintained throughout.
AI Demand Forecasting Platform — UK Retail Group, 80 Locations
A UK retail group operating 80 physical and online locations was using manual spreadsheet-based forecasting that consistently produced inaccurate demand projections, resulting in overstock and stockout events costing an estimated £2.4 million annually. The organisation required an AI forecasting system that could ingest historical sales, seasonal signals, promotional data and external market indicators.
QORA designed and deployed a machine learning demand forecasting pipeline built on Python, TensorFlow and AWS SageMaker. The system ingested 4 years of historical transaction data, trained ensemble models combining gradient boosting and LSTM neural networks, and was integrated directly into the client's ERP system via a REST API layer.
The system reached 89% forecast accuracy within six months of deployment. Automated retraining pipelines ensured the model adapted to seasonal shifts without manual intervention.
Security Architecture & ISO 27001 Certification — Series B FinTech
A Series B FinTech company processing £180 million in annual transaction volume was preparing for enterprise client contracts that required ISO 27001 certification as a contractual prerequisite. The organisation had no formal security management system and had identified 23 outstanding security vulnerabilities in a preliminary internal review.
QORA conducted a comprehensive security posture assessment, penetration testing programme and gap analysis against ISO 27001 Annex A controls. A remediation programme was designed and executed across 7 months, covering access control hardening, data encryption standards, incident response procedure development, supplier security assessments and employee security awareness training.
The company achieved ISO 27001 certification within seven months of engagement start. All 23 identified vulnerabilities were remediated before the final certification audit.
End-to-End DevOps Transformation — SaaS Platform, 200,000 Active Users
A B2B SaaS company serving 200,000 active users was experiencing severe release cycle constraints. Deployments required 14 days from code commit to production, involved six manual approval steps and had a 23% rollback rate. The engineering team of 18 was spending approximately 40% of its time on deployment-related activities rather than feature development.
QORA designed a full DevOps platform replacing the manual pipeline with GitHub Actions CI/CD, Terraform infrastructure-as-code, ArgoCD GitOps for Kubernetes deployments, comprehensive observability via Datadog and automated rollback triggers. Feature flag infrastructure was introduced to enable progressive rollouts.
The new platform was fully operational within three months. Deployment frequency increased from twice monthly to multiple daily releases within six weeks of go-live.
